Korey Phelan

Korey Phelan

Dr. Korey Phelan is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Utah Tech University. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in 2019.

Dr. Phelan’s research focuses on youth victimization and delinquency, interests shaped by her work as a child and family therapist in Montana. She is a member of the Midwest Sociological Society and has presented her research at their annual meetings.

Outside of academia, Dr. Phelan enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, traveling, running, and playing tennis.
