Courses To Consider

There are no prerequisite courses or required majors for law school. Law schools like diverse majors, so students should feel free to select any major that interests them. However, students who plan to attend law school should take course that will develop their critical thinking and writing skills so they will be prepared for the rigors of law school. Research has shown a correlation between taking philosophy courses and higher LSAT scores.

The pre-law advising program has identified the following courses that we believe will assist students with their preparation for law school The courses are not required for pre-law students, but should be considered by pre-law students to fill electives.
